Grief

My grandmother sadly lost her husband when she was 41, but kept his name on her door until her passing this year in January. She was well acquainted with grief.

I took inspiration from post-American Civil War photographs of widows posing with their deceased husbands' army uniforms to convey my own feelings around the grief of losing my role model but still experiencing the impacts of her care everywhere.
